2024 Graduation Information

Plans for the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ commencement ceremonies for Summer 2023, Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates have been finalized. All graduates, families and friends are invited to attend. Locations and details are as follows. RSVPs are not required.

Cap and Gown

Caps, gowns, and tassels are available by visiting  or may be purchased at the Rowan Campus or Maysville Campus bookstores. Online orders must be placed by April 3 to have the item shipped to a home address.

If you are an honor graduate, your honor cord will be given to you when you arrive for the ceremony. Honor graduates have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 from KCTCS.

Check-in

Check-in at the Registration Table at commencement. Check-in will begin at 5:00 pm. Upon check-in you will receive a note card with your name on it and an honor cord, if you are an honor graduate. We will have commencement staff at the main entrance of the site to direct you to the Registration Table.

Ceremony

Line-up for the commencement processional will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 and will last approximately one hour. During the ceremony, graduates will be called to the stage by degree type (AA, AS, AAS, Diploma, Certificate) and will hand your enclosed name card to Dr. Dana Calland, Chief Academic Officer, upon reaching the stage during the ceremony so she can read your name. Then you will return to and remain in your seat until the ceremony has concluded.

Credentials

Credentials for Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 graduates have already been mailed. Spring 2024 credentials will be mailed in June.
