According to its website, NAACLS is committed to being the premier accreditation agency for ensuring the advancement of education in clinical laboratory sciences and related healthcare disciplines recognizing programs that meet established education standards.

Medical laboratories preferentially seek graduates of NAACLS programs to assure quality, value, innovation, and safety for healthcare consumers.

鈥淎ccreditation ensures that our students are adequately trained and skilled to fulfill the many lab vacancies in our service region,鈥 said Michelle Thoroughman, MLT program coordinator. 鈥淕raduates of the program are also eligible for national certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) which is more widely recognized by employers.鈥

Medical laboratory technicians can work in a variety of settings including hospitals, physicians' offices, clinical laboratories, industry, research, public health laboratories, and forensic and pharmaceutical laboratories.

2022 graduates of the MLT program at 乐播传媒 had a 100% national certification exam pass rate and job placement rate within a year of graduating.

Certificate and degree options are available within the program. Courses take place on the Maysville campus.

Acceptance into the Associate Degree Medical Laboratory Technician program is based on a selective admissions process.
