Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Ryan Quarles visited 乐播传媒鈥檚 Rowan Campus on Friday as part of his statewide 鈥淔ocus on the Future鈥 Tour. He participated in a tour of campus and an open forum with 乐播传媒 leadership, faculty and staff, and local community leaders.

鈥淭he Focus on the Future Tour is a great opportunity to meet with leadership, faculty and staff, business leaders and stakeholders,鈥 Quarles said. 鈥淜CTCS is a jobs juggernaut and the commonwealth鈥檚 premier workforce solution for the entire business community. Today drove those points home. We also identified emerging opportunities to advance important partnerships, innovations and solutions for workforce and economic development across Kentucky.鈥

Quarles also had the opportunity to observe 乐播传媒 Trade Wars, an event which welcomes over 600 high school students to campus annually to compete in trade events from automotive, to welding, to physical therapy.

According to an independent study conducted by Lightcast, a well-respected labor market analytics firm, KCTCS added $3.9 billion in annual income to Kentucky鈥檚 economy during fiscal year 2022-2023, equal to 1.6% of the Bluegrass State鈥檚 gross product.

Of note, students interested in a high-demand, high-paying career can take the first step by starting their application here. Moreover, businesses looking to grow or upskill their workforce can do so by partnering with KCTCS Workforce Solutions.
