Montgomery County Sheriff David Charles joined Dr. Laura McCullough, President/CEO of 乐播传媒 (乐播传媒) on Tuesday to sign a memorandum of agreement to improve the safety and security of faculty, staff, and students on 乐播传媒's Montgomery Campus in Mt. Sterling.
鈥淭he safety of the faculty, staff, and students of 乐播传媒 is our top priority,鈥 said McCullough. 鈥淭oday is a great day for our Montgomery Campus, and we are thankful to be able to provide a more secure environment for everyone who walks through our doors.鈥
As a part of the agreement, Tim Brown, who most recently served in Bath County as a school resource officer at Bath County Middle School, will spend time on campus each week.
鈥淭his is a wonderful example of when organizations work together for the common good of our community,鈥 said Sheriff Charles. 鈥淲e are excited to assist in providing security to this institution of higher learning and to the citizens and future of our community.鈥
Brown has been in law enforcement for 28 years and came to Montgomery County in 1996. His first day on campus was May 6.
鈥淚 am excited to be here,鈥 said Brown. 鈥淭his opportunity seemed like a natural progression for me. The timing was great, so it seemed like it was meant to be.鈥
